The Acadiana Veterans Honor Guard (AVHG) was established in March of 2014 to address the need to provide every honorably discharged veteran in the Southwest Louisiana area, with Military Funeral Honors. Our services include casket posting, flag folding, 21 Gun Salute and taps. Also Flag Presentations for veteran events. All our services are FREE to veterans and their families.
AVHG is a not for profit organization. We do not receive any funding from Federal, State or local governments. We rely completely on the generosity of those who share the promise that every Southwest Louisiana veteran shall be buried with dignity and honor. We are a tax exempt 501C-19 organization and such donations are tax deductible.
